Step Up For Students must complete Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) if they receive more than $250,000 in aggregate scholarship funds during a single fiscal year
Core Requirements

Mandatory Threshold: Any school receiving a combined total of $250,000 or more from scholarship programs—including Florida Tax Credit (FTC), Family Empowerment (FES), and Hope Scholarships—must file an AUP report.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA): The school must contract with an independent, currently licensed Florida CPA firm authorized to perform attest engagements.

Submission Deadline: The AUP report is due by September 15 following the end of the fiscal year. It must be submitted to the Scholarship Funding Organization (SFO)that provided the majority of the school's scholarship
